What is Niche Marketing?
The word ‘niche’ can easily be defined as a specialized area of demand for a product or service. What you’re doing as a niche marketer is selling a product or service in that specialized area. Marketing in a specialized area instead of a general area is good because there’s less competition but a high demand. An example would be food for dogs as the specialized area instead of ‘dogs’ in general. 
In niche marketing, you’re marketing a product to meet specific needs of a specific group of people. Say you’re selling food for dogs, a person who owns a cat wouldn’t be interested in this product but a dog owner would. If you’ve written an eBook about how to make your own food for dog owners, people who are looking for something specific to that would be interested, a ‘specialized’ group of people.
How to Research and Find Your Niche Online
Finding the right niche is your next step in niche marketing. First, think of something you’re interested in or something you would like to learn more about. You then want to search the Internet for how big the demand for specific products in that area are and how much competition you see. A simple principle would be high demand, low supply. Offer a product that will fix a problem, make someone feel better or even look better. Great places to find Affiliate products to promote in specific niches would include sites like Clickbank or Commission Junction.
To be successful in niche marketing, you need to do a lot research first to see what people are demanding. Once you have the information you need, create a website around this niche and sprinkle it with your affiliate links. Promote your site and you’re on your way to a successful niche marketing business.
Niche marketing is a very effective and cost efficient way to advertise and sell specific products or services to a specific audience or, hopefully, buyers of that product or service.

What exactly is affiliate marketing? If you’re a newbie, you may have no idea. The best way to tell you what Affiliate marketing is that’s it’s the single fastest growing business on the Internet. It’s also one of the fastest and easiest way to make money on the Internet will little ad spend. 
In Affiliate marketing, all you’re doing is selling other people’s products and making a commission from it. It’s essentially your own business. If you’re interested in making a great income with Affiliate marketing, here are a few things you must have.

This website provides all the tools, resources, and support you would ever need and no one gives you as much as is provided here. I wouldn’t recommend it if I didn’t believe in it.
Tools and Resources You Should Use on Your Blog

What do you need to be a successful blogger? Besides the fact of always updating your blog with new information, you also want to find new ways to improve your blog to stay ahead of other competing blogs. Here are a few tools and resources you can use to stay ahead of all the other bloggers out there.
The first resource I recommend is SEO Radio. It’s not specifically a tool for blogs but a resource about search engine optimization that gives great information about how to optimize your blog for the search engines. You can read more about it at www.seoradio.com.
The second recommend tool for your blog is CARP which is not specifically made for blogs but can be used with your blog to provide RSS feeds. RSS feeds continuously keep your blog updated which increases your ranking in the search engines. Check it out at www.geckotribe.com/rss.

Another item I like to use on my blog is Google’s blog search at http://blogsearch.google.com. This is a great way to find your competition via a keyword search so you can analyze their methods of traffic generation.
An additional recommend tool and resource is a list of blogging and RSS directories you can submit your blog to. It’s located at www.vilesilencer.com. Also, don’t forget to check out www.searchengineworld.com and the warrior forum at www.warriorforum.com/forum for more great marketing and optimization tips to help you with your online business.
The last item to consider for your blog is the blogging platform itself. When you get serious about your blog and want to grow your readership, consider hosting for your blog and using Wordpress’s fully functional blog platform over the free one. As an affiliate, all you need to do is advertise your affiliate link and just sit back and wait for customers to click on the link and purchase the product. I wish it was that easy. A lot of people don’t make money with their affiliate links because they really DO sit back and do nothing but wait for someone to click on their link. There is work involved in making money with your Affiliate business just like with any other business.
Successful affiliates don’t just sit around waiting. They’re successful because they actually do something. If you want to be successful, you do have to do a few things to make it work but it’s not hard. If you’re an Affiliate newbie, here are a few things you can do to make money and continue making money with your Affiliate business.
* Become an expert on your affiliate product.
It’s easier to sell a merchant’s product if you know a lot about it. To be an expert on the product, the best thing to do is purchase and use it. You can then tell your potential customers about your first-hand experience with it. You can even write a testimonial about the product. If you just can’t purchase the product, at least research as much as you can about it.
* Get Hosting for Your Website.
Also have a domain name that is short and easy for someone to remember. If you have your own page, you have unlimited options on designing and adding content. Stand out from other Affiliates out there.
* Write your own affiliate ads.
Many newbie Affiliate marketers use the merchant’s ads to promote their product. The Internet then becomes saturated with the same ads, which makes it that march harder for you to earn a sale. Create a unique ad for the same product to attract more sales.
* Participate in forums and discussion boards related to your Affiliate product.
Forums and discussion boards are great for a few reasons. First, you can learn a lot about what’s going on with different products and Affiliate marketing in general and second, using a signature with a link back to your site or Affiliate product will bring more traffic and potential sales.
* Create a free Ezine or newsletter.
You can use Ezines and newsletters to provide information people are looking for and at the same time promote your Affiliate products. You can also sell ad space to make additional money.

Why Web Hosting is a Good Idea for Your Online Business

Web hosting is basically a way for individuals and companies to store digital media (websites etc.) on the Internet for others to access. It is a service that allows organizations and individuals to post their website or web content on the internet and is often provided as part of a general internet access plan. There are many free and paid providers offering these services. Digital files like websites, videos and programs for instance are stored on a web host server sometimes called a data center where they can be retrieved by anyone who wishes to view the slide or video footage for example.
People first starting out with free hosting should consider if having a free package is what they need because although these supply almost everything needed to create and host a site, they’re not a match for a paid service. If you’re planning to
expand, you should shift to a paid service as free web hosting only gives you limited space and sub-domains for your site. Hosting packages vary enormously and should be chosen according to your needs and not based on price because certain requirements may not be available in the lower price package.
Initially, the majority of users decide on paying for a shared server with their hosting company. It’s normally possible to upgrade to have a dedicated server for your files once you know the service provider is reliable. If your package can’t provide this or the company can’t meet your needs, then visitors will not always be able to access your site during busy periods so a new package or company may be needed. Of course this won’t matter if you only have a basic website but as soon as you start adding large images, audio tracks, video footage and other big files, your bandwidth will be used up very quickly. You may have your own web host in your PC, but that can be too risky; the best option is to settle for paid web hosting, even if you’re new to the internet.
