Email marketing is another great way to promote your affiliate products. It’s a very effective way to market and is used by a lot of Internet marketers. You probably know this already when you sign up for a free newsletter or ebook and then you see a lot of emails in your inbox. 
When marketing with email, you start with an opt-in list. This is where you offer your own newsletter or ebook free so people will sign up. Just add your subscription box to your site to capture those names and emails. Make sure to use an autoresponder that has a double opt-in, this is where the subscriber will have to verify their subscription before joining your mailing list. I personally like www.aweber.com for email marketing campaigns.
You also need to make sure to comply with the Can Spam Act when sending emails to your list. You always need to include your name and address at the end of your email and also provide an unsubscribe link for a person to opt-out if this wish to. All of this is automatically added for you with Aweber’s software.
Another great thing about email marketing is the ease of use and the fact that you can put it on autopilot. What’s easier than not having to do any work at all to make a sale?

Having a mailing list is a must for every entrepreneur and business. There are many free and open source software which you can use to build your mailing list. You should take advantage of them to power your business.
I have helped many clients to build and manage newsletter systems. Integrating the newsletter system with their websites have increased their sales drastically. They have all fallen in love this magic money making system called mailing list.
